COLA Update!

The “No Slum Zones” campaign wins another victory! In a long battle with property owners of Carondelet Street, tennants received relocation monies and an opportunity to move back into their units once capital imporovements are completed. Thanks to the hard work of community organizer Mario Cuellar, tenants also found temporary housing. The Rest Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) allows tenants to move back into their rent-controlled units after renovation is complete.
